Enable Hebrew/Yiddish Keyboard Layouts
for OS X (10.2 and up)

 

To get started, you may wish to try out the standard system keyboard for Hebrew, plus a few others. Here's how to set them up:

  1. Apple Menu

  2. System Preferences

  3. Personal -- International

  4. Tab - Languages -- Hit Edit button.

  5. Can uncheck what you don't want. Check any Yiddish and Hebrew (Ivrit) options.

  6. Scripts - Select Roman - English.

  7. Tab - Input Menu

  8. Select: US, Character Palette, Hebrew, Unicode Hex Input, US Extended

  9. Options (on lower right) - Do check for font and keyboard synchronization.

  10. . System Preferences -- Quit
