Enable Hebrew/Yiddish Keyboard Layouts
for OS X (10.2 and up)
To get started, you may wish to try out the standard system keyboard for Hebrew, plus a few others. Here's how to set them up:
Apple Menu
System Preferences
Personal -- International
Tab - Languages -- Hit Edit button.
Can uncheck what you don't want. Check any Yiddish and Hebrew (Ivrit) options.
Scripts - Select Roman - English.
Tab - Input Menu
Select: US, Character Palette, Hebrew, Unicode Hex Input, US Extended
Options (on lower right) - Do check for font and keyboard synchronization.
